Founder Overseer Kytong Linen and Lady Sharon Linen

Pastor Kytong Linen was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is one of six children, the oldest son of Charles and Leona Bennett.

 

He was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit with Power in 1985 under Pastor Alphonso Coble at the New Hope Apostolic Church in Stamford, CT.

 

In 1998, Pastor Linen was a member of House Of God Outreach And Deliverance Ministries in Bridgeport, CT. Where he served as a Trustee under the leadership of the Overseer Doris C. Robertson and Pastor Beverly Robertson.

 

In 2008, Pastor Linen served as a Deacon and Amor Bearer at the Blessed Hope Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Pastor James L. Funches in Boston, MA. 

 

In 2013, he went on to become a Minister at The Gathering of Champions of Boston Church under the Leadership of Pastor Ronald Fagan.

 

During his time as a Minister, he began to hear the call into the Five-Fold Ministry. He then started He Came To Set The Captives Free Church in his home in Brockton, MA.

 

Pastor Linen was ordained at the Lord’s Temple UAC in Avon, MA as Pastor in 2014 by the Presiding Prelate Bishop Dr. Gerald Nelson.

In 2017, God led Pastor Linen back to Bridgeport, CT. Where he married Sharon Linen and

continued He Came To Set The Captives Free Church In Bridgeport, CT.

 

In 2019 Pastor Linen was elevated to Overseer by Apostle Michael Boyd, and Bishop Shonta Green in Jacksonville Florida.

In 2021, the Church name was changed to Setting the Captives Free Church Inc.

Pastor Linen is founder and Director of a Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse  

 Facility called (Kingdom Fellowship Outreach Programs) established  January 19, 2021.

 

Pastor Linen has a heart for souls and kingdom building.
